Why Maestro’s Cane Corso?

Simple, we care.  Our dogs come first: quality over quantity.

  1. Our dogs aren’t locked up outside separate from everyone, they live in the house with us (yes, all of them!), where manners, good behavior, and pack hierarchy can be reinforced regularly – they eat together, drink together, play together, etc.
  2. Our puppies aren’t taken early from the litter, they can wean naturally and have adequate time for their stomachs to get used to the transition from nursing to solid food & water.  They have time to build individual confidence, and be mentally prepared for all that life throws at them.
  3. Our puppies aren’t left disoriented without a frame of reference to figure things out on their own.  They interact regularly with both their Mother and Father who teach and guide them in how to behave: properly redirect playful energy, listening, etc.  They are given opportunities to socialize with children & adults, along with exposure to noises and various distractions.
  4. You aren’t caught off guard and left to inherit a nightmare, our puppies learn: to listen, use self-control and respect, mouth softly and not bite, know basic commands, and are potty trained all before pick-up.
  5. You aren’t misled on the quality of Cane Corso you are buying; our Cane Corso’s are 100% pure bred and we disclose everything publicly that isn’t considered to be in alignment with the breed standard of a quality Cane Corso.
  6. You won’t get a Cane Corso from us that looks similar to a Pitbull, Boxer, Labrador, or any other type of dog: that kind of dog would be a mutt.  A Cane Corso is a member of the mastiff family, otherwise known as an Italian Mastiff, they are distinct.
  7. You won’t see us prancing our dogs around showing off how they “stack” – it imitates the ideal, of how a well-bred dog should hold itself on its own naturally.  This natural “show” stance is how a Cane Corso holds itself when it is on alert inspecting the environment directly ahead.  Simply, our dogs don’t need to pretend, they are the epitome of the breed.
  8. We won’t direct you to faux experts or encourage you to participate in organizations that are glorified puppy mills sanctioning monopolistic attitudes.  The physical, mental, and behavioral well being of the Cane Corso and the performance of its unsurpassed function as a protector is more important, especially regarding the preservation of quality.
